About Lanier Clearing & Grading

T.Lanier, Inc. is owned and operated by Tim Lanier, a native to North Carolina. Tim grew up on a turkey farm in Jacksonville, NC.  He attended North Carolina State University and after graduation moved back home to work with a construction company, spending a lot of time working in North Topsail Beach. During this time, he learned all aspects of civil construction that would come in handy when starting his own firm.

In 2003, Tim founded his grading business, T. Lanier, Inc. with just a Bobcat skid steer loader and a trailer. Working up from these humble beginnings he has since expanded the fleet to a wide variety of the latest model equipment, including adding a GPS guided machine control in 2012.

In 2007, T. Lanier, Inc. received the North Carolina Contractor’s License for Highway and Public Utilities and in 2013 the license was upgraded to Unlimited. We complete projects of all sizes throughout Southeast North Carolina and do so with the utmost attention to detail, quality customer service and fairness in pricing.
